**Project Manager**

## **About the Role**

Jouri for Research and Consulting is recruiting a Project Manager to support the effective implementation of research, monitoring, and evaluation (M&E) assignments. The role involves leading project delivery, ensuring high-quality technical outputs, and managing relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams.

The successful candidate will oversee the full project cycle — from design and planning to implementation, reporting, and client engagement — ensuring that all deliverables meet professional standards and client expectations while contributing to business development and organizational visibility.

**PM Management Responsibilities:**

- Lead and supervise the design and delivery of research, monitoring, and evaluation projects
- Support the articulation, development, and roll-out of innovative planning aligned with professional best practices and client requirements
- Develop technical and analytical frameworks, evaluation matrices, and tools for awarded projects
- Ensure delivery of high-quality technical and operational services across all assignments
- Maintain high levels of client satisfaction across the implementation portfolio
- Produce and communicate high-quality reports, data, and analysis in line with agreed client formats
- Produce and/or contribute timely inputs to final reports, assessments, research outputs, and capacity-building plans
- Undertake special assignments, including rapid assessments and in-depth analyses as required by management
- Manage relationships with project teams, consultants, and clients to ensure successful execution of contracts
- Monitor project progress, provide quality assurance of outputs, and troubleshoot challenges where needed
- Act as a focal point for problem-solving and client management across projects
- Provide ongoing support across all stages of the project cycle, including desk research, report drafting, and tool development

**Copy Editing Responsibilities:**

- Review and revise content for accuracy and quality, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax
- Ensure all reports maintain appropriate tone, voice, clarity, flow, and structure

**Planning and Administration Responsibilities:**

- Contract project consultants and monitor their performance to ensure effective delivery within budget and quality standards
- Manage project budgets, invoicing, and ensure expenditures align with allocated resources
- Review and approve expenses and consultant fees in line with project budgets
- Collaborate with and support other team members across Jouri

**Business Development Responsibilities:**

- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including INGOs, CSOs, bilateral organizations, and donor partners
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to support the opportunity pipeline, including identifying opportunities and advising on Go/No-Go decisions
- Contribute to drafting and reviewing proposals as required
- Support business development efforts depending on skills, experience, and portfolio needs

**Communication Responsibilities:**

- Develop engaging marketing content and manage Jouri’s LinkedIn presence, including regular posts and audience engagement
- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including tracking performance metrics and reporting outcomes
- Contribute to brand identity initiatives and network with industry professionals to enhance visibility and partnerships
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities and prepare reports to inform future strategies

**Qualifications and Experience**

- Advanced degree in Development Studies, Economics, Social Sciences, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5-8+ years of experience managing research, monitoring, and evaluation (M&E) projects end-to-end
- Strong expertise in developing evaluation frameworks, research methodologies, and analytical tools
- Previous experience in consulting firms is highly desirable, particularly in client-facing and donor-funded projects
- Excellent command of English and Ukrainian (written and verbal), with strong analytical, report writing, and communication skills.
- Priority will be given to candidates based in Ukraine or neighboring countries with the ability to regularly access Ukraine.
